After watching the tutorials for the iPod Touch I learned that you can have up to 8 active windows open, there are 11 screens that you can put apps on and, I will be the one managing the devices on my school laptop using an iTunes account that I must create using my SBISD email associated with it.
Effective classroom device management needs to be setup before students can begin using the devices. Students will be introduced to the device management rules I will create before they begin to use them just as we do before starting math and other learning centers. I liked they idea of having classroom managers in charge or putting out and away the devices and making sure they are charging. I will also have a pair of "Assistants" that will be my device experts who can help other students when they encounter issues.
Were you able to find any apps you liked? Don't forget we have the searchable database on the Ed Tech website!
ReplyDeleteThe students I've seen who are the classroom managers just do a terrific job!
I have loads of apps to share with you as well. There is so much that you will be able to do with the I Pods and I Pad in your room. I hope that you are having fun with all of this. Enjoy.
